Her Royal Highness shares a strong connection with the Armed Forces community, stemming from a family tradition of service. This affinity aligns closely with the mission and values of the Certa Cito Foundation. Her Royal Highness holds numerous honorary military ranks and titles across the Commonwealth and has proudly served as Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals since 1977.

In November 2025, during her visit to Australia for the Corps Centenary celebrations in her capacity as Colonel-in-Chief, Her Royal Highness’s patronage of the Foundation was officially announced.
